This Jacksonville engagement session was anything but traditional. The couple wanted to incorporate something that was a big part of their lives, so he brought his motorcycle along and we built the engagement session around it. The result was a themed engagement shoot that felt much more personal to them than a typical portrait session.
We photographed around downtown Jacksonville, looking for locations that would give the photos an urban and slightly edgy feel. We even got lucky when we came across an abandoned-looking location with an open gate that we hadn't originally planned on using. It ended up giving us some of my favorite images from the session and added another layer to the story of their engagement photos.
I loved photographing this Jacksonville motorcycle engagement session because we were able to take something meaningful to the couple and make it part of their story. Their motorcycle, the urban setting, and the unexpected location all came together to create engagement photography that felt personal, adventurous, and completely different from a traditional engagement shoot.
