She originally booked me for my themed photography sessions, so when she came back to me for her engagement photos, we knew this was going to be anything but a traditional engagement session. For their beach engagement photography session, they chose a king and queen theme complete with a sword, giving us the opportunity to create something dramatic and completely personal to them.
One of my favorite moments was having him kneel before her as though she were knighting him, creating a fun and cinematic moment that fit perfectly with their theme. We also took the fantasy concept even further in Photoshop, adding magical effects and a castle in the distance to transform some of their beach portraits into something straight out of a fantasy story.
I loved creating these Jacksonville engagement photos because they weren't simply traditional portraits. We were able to combine their relationship with their shared love of fantasy and create engagement photography that actually felt like them. It was another reminder of why I love themed and creative engagement sessions and helping couples create something completely different from the usual engagement photos.
