This wedding at Camp Chowenwaw Park was such a beautiful experience to photograph. The bride’s mother had been following my photography work for a while and reached out to book me for their special day, which made being part of their wedding even more meaningful.
The wedding took place inside one of the cabins at Camp Chowenwaw Park, surrounded by beautiful greenery and the natural scenery of the park. I loved photographing the way the green surroundings became part of the atmosphere and gave the day such a natural, intimate feeling. From the cabin to the outdoor surroundings, there were so many opportunities to capture genuine moments and beautiful portraits.
I had an amazing time photographing this Camp Chowenwaw Park wedding and capturing the couple, their family, and all of the little moments that made their Jacksonville-area wedding unique. It was the kind of wedding that reminded me why I love photographing real couples in meaningful places rather than simply creating traditional wedding portraits.
